Logical Operations, recently recognized as the Official CompTIA Global Content Reseller, announces the launch of CertNexus as a new brand entity.
CertNexus is an emerging company that focuses on providing certifications specifically for IT professionals. These products have been developed to meet the growing demand for skills validation and personal growth and designed to ultimately narrow the widening skills gap within cybersecurity and the information technology industry. CertNexus features certifications in three key technology areas:
1) CertNexus in Cybersecurity
CyberSec First Responder (CFR) validates the skills an individual holds when it comes to cybersecurity. Specifically, the program measures one’s ability to design secure network environments, proactively defend networks, and effectively respond to cybersecurity incidents. CFR will introduce tools and tactics for those seeking to strengthen their career prospects. The United States Department of Defense (DoD) has approved the CyberSec First Responder certification program as DoD Directive 8570 compliant.
2) CertNexus in Secure Coding
Cyber Secure Coder (CSC) validates language and platform agnostic secure coding principles. The CSC exam will certify that the successful candidate has the knowledge, skills, and abilities to design and develop a variety of applications for various platforms, analyze security concerns outside of specific languages and platforms, use a number of testing and analysis tools, and mitigate against common threats to data and systems.
3) CertNexus in IoT (Internet of Things)
Coming soon, the Certified Internet of Things Practitioner (CIoTP) training and certification program will certify that the candidate has a foundational knowledge of IoT concepts, technologies, and tools that will enable them to become a capable IoT practitioner in a wide variety of IoT-related job functions. The exam is due to enter the Beta stage in May 2018.
